FCP 5 won’t start, help!!
Hi there:
Suddenly FCP5 won’t start. It loads and half way through it quits. I did use it a few times without a problem and suddenly this happens. I downloaded the Avid codecs and install them. I did get FCP to load up after that but it seems it won’t do it any more.
I get FCP 4.5 to load fine but not 5, any clues why? Some kind of incompatibility?

Trash the FCP Prefs and restart the machine. see if that helps.
