FCP 5 on PB1.5
I will be transitioning to a Quad desktop w/ Kona when they ship. In the meantime I am cutting FCP 4.5 on a PB 1.5 w/ 1.25GHz ram & LaCie Extreme 500. Before the Quad arrives, I may be dealing with projects that will require both HDV and multicam (not at the same time I hope) and was wondering if there was a resonable software configuration for the PB w/ FCP5. Like OSX10.3.9 w/ FCP5 & QT 7.0.3
Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, this may be meaningless and useless but here’s what I’d do:
Down-convert the HDV stuff to DV (or your predominant format) and forget about it till you get the new machine.bogiesan
