FCP 5 no play through Apple HD Cinema Display w/apple+F12???
As a routine, I playback my HDV material through my 23″ Apple Cinema Display by apple+f12. I had refreshed, all framed, and re started both FCP 5 and CPU. A/V settings all in Apple cinema HD Display. I even checked the monitor resolution.
I can hear the sound but no picture on monitor. When I space bar to stop, I can see the last frame played. If I go on space baring, stop and going, I still see every last frame played. I couldn -

You can also get a free program to the same job for you. It’s called FCP Rescue. Just do a search for it on Google and it’ll come up. Good luck.

The apple program (FCP rescue) just wasn’t enought. I ran it twise with no results at all, then proceded manually following Kenstone’s directions that you pointed me and BINGO!.
Iam Now running into other kind of problems such as rendered files despeared an all, but I’ll re render them back and problem should be solved.
