FCP 5 and tiger upgrade not seeing my DSR-11 deck

Hi list,

Wonder if anyone might steer me inthe direction of an answer to this puzzle.

I upgrade to FCP 5 and Tiger on three workstations, two G5s are able to see my Sony deck, but the FCP on the G4 doesn’ see it (the FW connection is good though to the machine as I see the deck in system profiler and FCP actually controls the deck) but the deck is not listed as a option for external viewing so I can’t write back to tape.

If anyone has any insight I’d be very grateful to hear it.

Hi Matt,

Worked a treat. Even though I had 702 Pro installed, I guess the old package receipt was confusing FCP somehow.

Thank you SO much for jumping in and sorting that mystery out.
