    This may be a basic question but I could not get through to Apple about it. I installed FCP on my new Macbook Pro and it won’t launch, giving me the error… This software requires certain hardware or software which is missing.

    FCP4.5 is not a Universal Binary, your MacBook is an Intel Mac and tries to run PowerPC software via the Rosetta emulation mode which it can’t do with FCP. Time to get that crossgrade old chap.

    well i use the tag on online games (it’s not all boys on there you know) as far as I can remember I just made it up, perhaps I saw a movie when I was little or something, long forgotten!
