FCP 4 export to dvd
I’m using FCP 4 academic.
Trying to export to DVD. I click file > export > using compressor.
I believe a Batch window is supposed to open. But it doesnt. Nothing happens. My cursor does, for just a second, become the movie reel spinning, indicating a process in action, but in fact nothing happens. No new window opens. Nothing changes.
This is with FCP 4 academic. Is it because its academic?

I’d guess its more likely because its FCP 4. It sounds like compressor is broken.
Can you open compressor as a stand alone app?
Can you export a self-contained quicktime?
