    Can you help?

Using a dual processor mirrored door G4 Mac OS 10.3.9, I am a new user to both FCE HD & iDVD6. I have recently edited my wedding video in FCE HD and then imported to iDVD6 as a Quicktime movie.

Everything seemed to work just fine and after approx. 2 hours of encoding the DVD was finally burnt.

I was impressed, it looks great, even the titles & credits which didn’t look that great on screen when played on the Mac seemed to pop out & look fab on the TV and where I thought I might have problems with the audio, there was none.

The end result,to my standards, was almost perfect, except for the fact that on a couple occasions the movie seems to flicker & jump very slightly, in particular where I have used a black and white effect/a slower speed. After spending so many hours editing perfecting my video, I am not entired happy to leave it as it is, as I’m sure there must be a way to fix it.

I am confussed as to whether or not this is normal as when I play the movie back in FCE there is no flickering or Jumping.

What have I done wrong and is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening before I try to burn another DVD?

Is there anyone out there who can help a complete novice solve this problem?

I am determined to not give up and get it right?

    Many Thanks in Advance

this could be the sign of a bitrate spike that your dvd player is not able to handle, but I’m not sure. If the part that skips has a transition or heavy set of effects applied, this is what might happen. SO, what are your compression settings? Are you using compressor? Try lowering the bitrate if you’re going to MPEG-2 from compressor. I hope this helps a tiny bit.
