Upgraded yesterday. All went smoothly.

I did however, back up my system drive, then did an erase and new clean install of OSX.4, updated system software to X.4.9 and Quicktime to latest version, then installed FCStudio 2, and finally the new Kona 4 drivers. Finally dragged back all the project files, re-installed misc. applications and FCP plug-ins.

I also saved and dragged back my button bars, custom keyboard layout, and custom column layouts, and those recalled in FCP6 just fine.

All together it took about 6 hours, but at least I know I’ve got a good clean install from the get-go.

Did not mess around with any other apps yet. That will happen later today.
