Fastest way to export out of FCP (Low quality)
I have about 2hours of HD footage that I want to export out of FCP as one file. I don’t care about the quality, SD is fine, just using it for review.
How can I do this? I went to export with QT conversion in a lower quality and it said it would take 8+ hours. Then I made a SD sequence to export with but to render is 4+ hours then I still have to export.
Any other options?

Export the hd movie and use compressor to make a smaller file of your choosing

An H264 accelerator is a great way to create high quality compressed exports in super quick time … Matrox CompressHD (or a MAX equipped MXO2) is great, but given your requirements the much cheaper Elgato Turbo 264 HD may be even more suitable.
