As John points, the codec must be installed otherwise you couldn’t read neither export DVCProHD.
It sounds more an AE issue. trash the AE preferences.
You should also see which kind of codec you are using with FC. A one minute DVCProHD file it can not take 1 GB.
Pic the papers and read a bit about workflow, codecs, exports,..

Kamal,

Quality is directly proportional to the amount of information contained in a file, and more information means increased file size.

If you render at a lower resolution you can reduce both file size and render time, but quality will also be reduced accordingly.
