    Hello.
I’m new here, and want to ask some maybe obvious questions, but I wasn’t able to find the answers in google 🙂
I’m TV post-producer from Poland, working many years on FCP7. I don’t want to switch to FCP X so I’m testing Adobe Premiere CC. Could you give me the answers to beneath questions?

1)How to find clip on the timeline, which are from the same clip. In FCP 7 there was “find all” option, and program was selecting clips, so you can drag effects to those clips

    2) Is there any way that program monitor would show number of layer? I put adjustments layer on the top, and it covers everythng below, so I can’t fast scale track below

    3) Which codec you prefer to work with, and export so my machine would not die and be fast:)? Apple Mac 10.8
    Thanks in advance 🙂

Dont google use the online manual.
    https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/topics.html
    1. rightclick on clip in project window. This will give the position in the timeline, select and playhead will jump to that position.
    2. When adjusting a layer that is superimposted by another layer. Click layer in timeline. Go to Effect Controle hit the transform icon or the word Motion; bounding box will appear in Program Monitor.
    Use up/down/left/right for presice positioning.
    3. Premiere handles most formats native. The more its compressed the more horse power it needs.

Does not work, it does not move playhead in any way.
I got hundreds cuts from the same clip in my timeline, and manual shift selecting it in the timeline is very time consuming.
Any other way to quick select all clips from the same cut/angle?
