    fast enough?

    Hello People

    I’ve taken a snapshot of the blackmagic speed test i did on my raid 5.
    are these speed fast enough for the sony Ex3 camera. I’ll be shooting in 1080p mostly.

    yes.
    and if you are doing ProRes422HQ or DVCProHD codecs – no problem at all. For uncompressed, its still ok, but it’s not great by today’s standards.

    What drive array are you using, and what controller card ?

    Sorry about my late reply’s, I’m out of town 5 out of 7 days a week.

    I did another speed test and got these results.

    Am I good to go?
    Will be shooting Sony XDCam EX3 1080P
