how to do the effect like 03:23 to 03:52 in the video?? The particular fall down like snow and stop than a city was formed, Everything looks like out of focus from start to finish.
I was tried in AfterEffect and Cinema 4D, but it‘s bad, Does AE can do this? It Looks like paticular effect，but it’s very hard to control. or some other 3D software?hope someone can give some guide.

It looks like there is at least some depth data in there. I noticed the snowflakes aren’t a consistent intensity, but get brighter as they approach their target. I think this means they’ve built the image out of lights, then used those lights to light the particles.
In what way did your attempt look bad?
