    Hi,

we’re trying here to get this feature rendered back to FCP, but we’re getting a “failed to Encode”, and “No such track” error message when rendering. It appears it affects only shots that use the same .mov source repeatedly. It’s a 5D shoot, and came in perfectly to Resolve, the problem is rendering it out for roundtrip.
The logs files have been sent already to Blackmagic support last night I heard, but we haven’t heard anything back and we’re running out of time, so if anybody has any ideas why this is happening, or how can we solve it that’d be a life saver.

    Here’s the machine specs

    MacPro octo 2.66 6GB RAM
    GT120 / GTX285
    Decklink 3D+
    Snow Leopard 10.6.8
    10TB internal raid (5 2tb HD) / 5TB free space
    Resolve 8.0.1

Are you rendering with the FCP7 XML roundtrip selected in the render window?

    Hi Rohit,

yes, I’m rendering with the FCP7 XML roundtrip selected, I also tried FCP regular and still same results, the weird thing is, it renders fine in target mode as a whole QT, but we need to bring it back to FCP 7 as a roundtrip. One thing to mention though, since the footage is 5D, it wasn’t brought to FCP with the Canon plugin, they all have timecode starting at 0, but I don’t think that would be the problem since it imported into Resolve with no problems.

    Thanks,

    Gus
