Fade an Image in
Is there a way to fade in an image from top to bottom, or in parts?
e.g import an picture of a house, it fades in from bottom to top over 3 seconds
or the door fades in then the chimney then the windows etc

First one: animated mask or wipe transition in FCP
Second one: you’d obviously have to edit the image (e.g. in PS) into the individual objects in their own layer, import those individually (as layered Photoshop) and simply fade each individually. Can also be done in FCP.

Third way: Mask with feathering, keyframe the mask position.
