  • Face replace of old paintings

    Hello!

I am replacing some faces over old paintings and I was wondering if someone would know how I can make this look more real. The colours look quite right just the original painting looks rougher than the fine detailed photograph.

Which trick, filter or combination of those would be the best to use?

    Thanks!

Alien Skin has some “fine art” Photoshop plug-ins that might be helpful. Also you might want to experiment with adding some texture to the replaced face, which suffers from looking too good compared to the surrounding image.
