  Eyedropper tool not working!

  So all of a sudden the eyedropper tool within AE just doesn’t work. It just always registers that it’s picking up the color black. Also, as I move my mouse over the video window the color pallet in the info window stays at black. I am using CS3 with windows XP. I don’t think this is a driver error because literally yesterday this wasn’t an issue. PLease help. Thanks.
