  Eye-dropper / colour-picker troubles ? This solved it for me

  There’s this very frustrating bug where the eye-dropper in for example the type-tool can only pick-up colours from the after effects interface, but nothing from inside a comp- or footage-viewer.
  Which would be the entire point of the tool…

  Changing the bit-depth of the project, even if you then revert to the previous, fixed it.
  So the quick shortcut-y fix is to alt-click 3 times on the 8bpc/16bpc/32bpc indicator in the bottom row of the project pane.
