    hey!

i actually try to extrude a pretty noisy mesh, its flat. it is a result of a bool operation. i reduced polygons too. optimized it, untriangulate, etc..

its looking good polygonwise, but when i start to extrude it some edges moving to different directions. but i want a clean extrude.

    i simply attached my file.

    2193_extrude.c4d.zip

    please have a look ..

You still have some geometry problems which you can see if you select all the polygons with “tinted polygon normals” turned on in view propteries. These are mostly very skinny triangular faces that are pointing backwards.

oohh, was offline for a while,

but regarding to the problem, is there a way to fix this? i tried some optimize and untriangular commands but thats all it gives me.

i also used the polygon reduction tool.
