  • Extraneous audio in CS4 Flash render – how it this possible?

Posted by Alan Lloyd on December 16, 2011 at 10:26 pm

A couple weeks ago, I was setting up and outputting a Flash (FLV) file on a client’s CS4 machine. Someone from their office called me this afternoon, mentioning that there was extraneous audio in the encoded file. (He played it over the phone and I did hear something there.)

There was one asset in the timeline – a supplied piece we were outputting for loading onto a server. The timeline was clean. What’s up? Anybody got any ideas?

If nothing else, I’d like to be able to prevent this ever happening again!
