  Extracting Shapes from BCC LED for 3D Manipulation

  I’m using BCC LED to generate circle LEDs from my video in After Effects. I’d like to extract the circles, or groups of them to seperate layers for use in either C4d as seperate video elements to be laid out with different Z-values, or as 3D layers in AE to do the same. For anyone that doesn’t know, BCC LED leaves circles (or squares) with a black gap. The edge is very well defined.

  Can anyone tell me a quick and easy way to do this without creating separate masks for each circle?
