extracting clips to bins
i am new i am trying to extract highlights, from imported files and i want to place them into bins i named for the different type of highlights, but i am unable to move them to the bins with extraction tool, what am i doing wrong, open to other tutorial links, thanks everyone.

You can create subclips by setting in/out points in the source window and then dragging to the Project Window.

You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
