Extra frame when trimming layer with option+]
Help! I don’t remember this with previous versions of AE, so I think it may be a setting. When I trim a layer using the shortcut key option+] it leaves an extra frame of footage after the playhead. What’s up? When I trim the in point with option+[ it cuts right at the playhead, why does it give me an extra frame when I cut the out point?

When you trim, it includes the frame in the playhead, which is the frame in front of the CTI.
As far as I know, there is no way to change this behavior and it seems counter intuitive because most trims in NLE programes cut on (or before) the frame on the playhead.
