    Hey all,

    Quick question:

Anyone know how I would be able to set up an external television monitor (lcd) to my computer to use with avid when I play my sequence to a full screen.
As it is, I have a duel monitor set up and would like to add a broadcast monitor. Everytime I play the sequence at full screen it plays on my secondary computer monitor.
Any help or instructions and equipment requirements would be really useful…

Avid Media Composer 5.5? Ok, your options for this are:

    Avid Nitris DX
    Avid Mojo DX
    Matrox MXO2 Mini

The Matrox is your least expensive option.

    Hey Shane,
First off thanks a lot for all your helpful answers to some of my questions in the past.

I was wondering if you would help me in a bind that I’m in:

I need to create smaller low res files to pass along to my producer for transcribing footage.
I have my files as mts and as mxf files.
I am trying to figure out a way to convert my full res (large file size) files from mts and mxf to smaller h.264 files so I can upload to youtube and have the footage transcribed through there.
I have soronson squeeze and mpeg streamclip but can’t seem to be able to have the programs recognize my files.
Are there any other options I can use. Any other ways to do this.
Note: I have imported the mts and mxf files into my project in avid and I have the original shot footage files on a hard drive.
Any help would be very appreciated.
