External TV monitor hook up with Avid MC
Hey all,
Quick question:
Anyone know how I would be able to set up an external television monitor (lcd) to my computer to use with avid when I play my sequence to a full screen.
As it is, I have a duel monitor set up and would like to add a broadcast monitor. Everytime I play the sequence at full screen it plays on my secondary computer monitor.
Any help or instructions and equipment requirements would be really useful…Avid 5.5 / windows 7

Avid Media Composer 5.5? Ok, your options for this are:
Avid Nitris DX
Avid Mojo DX
Matrox MXO2 MiniThe Matrox is your least expensive option.

First off thanks a lot for all your helpful answers to some of my questions in the past.I was wondering if you would help me in a bind that I’m in:
I need to create smaller low res files to pass along to my producer for transcribing footage.
I have my files as mts and as mxf files.
I am trying to figure out a way to convert my full res (large file size) files from mts and mxf to smaller h.264 files so I can upload to youtube and have the footage transcribed through there.
I have soronson squeeze and mpeg streamclip but can’t seem to be able to have the programs recognize my files.
Are there any other options I can use. Any other ways to do this.
Note: I have imported the mts and mxf files into my project in avid and I have the original shot footage files on a hard drive.
Any help would be very appreciated.Avid 5.5
