    External drive appears on desktop but not in finder window

    I have one external drive that appears on the desktop but not in the top left of the finder window like the othe external drives do. How do I make it appear in the finder window?

    OS 10.4.9

    Menu>Finder>Preferencec>Sidebar tab>check the “Hard Disks” box.

    If that doesn’t work it means you accidentally drug it off the Finder once without noticing.

    Just drag the icon from the desktop onto the Finder sidebar. It will make a new copy on the Finder.
