External Control of Audio Envelopes
I was trying out using my Peavey 1600x MIDI control surface (https://www.cassiel.com/space/Gearhead/Peavey+PC+1600) with Vegas… I had never messed with the External control setup, but I was looking for a way to adjust audio envelopes on a track by moving one of the sliders as the playhead progresses.
I saw you could assign a slider to adjust the overal Volume slider for a track, but is it possible to do this with the envelopes on the tracks themselves?

Yes, the automation controls must be turned on. The automation settings button looks like a gear just to the left of the mute button.
