    Hey guys,

I’ve been a lurker forever, but this is my first time posting because I’ve completely exhausted all options for the problem I’m trying to solve. This is it:

I want to create flipping pages for a magazine in C4D, and be able
to replace the content of those pages in After Effects. The pages are just Plane objects with spline wraps as children, and the spline
wraps are connected to their own Mosplines(I’ve animated a few properties on the Mospline to give the plane more of a bend as it folds over.)

I applied my compositing tags and the buffers for those turned out great in After Effects. But the external compositing tag applied to the same object just gives me a plain solid that is synced with camera data, but doesn’t have any of the mospline attributes.

I feel like I’m missing something really basic here, but how does the external compositing tag work with non-square objects?

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks so much,
    Amy
