  • External Audio/Video setup?

I’m looking to add some decent external Audio speakers to my PP setup up, as well a decent client video monitor to hang on the wall.

Do I need a breakout box for audio?

I’m not very tech savvy, so I’m looking for suggestions.. or even just curious what you use so I have a place to start for my research.

    Thanks!

It really depends on what you want to do. For some a breakout box and rackmount gear is needed for others it is not. I like to have my BMD Shuttle for working with interlaced video clips but the equipment I have may not be needed for others. Some people need to capture analogue video tapes others do not.

Below is a video of my audio and video gear. Perhaps others will post their setup as well. I have a couple other videos on my channel that explain why I use the A/V gear I have.

Not sure what audio and video gear you would need but I have a new setup.

If you’re looking to keep things simple, I’d recommend Audioengine A2+ speakers. No need for a breakout audio box and multiple inputs.
