Here is a good one! We just wrapped a feature film shot on Red One MX and recorded external multichannel audio with TC jam sync box mounted to camera and everything aligns perfectly with the smart slate and the recorded BWV files … almost. When we import the BWF’s into Premiere Pro CC v7.0.1 there is a “Metadata Display” inconsistency with the “Media Start” TC and the absolute TC from the BWF.

For instance, in the picture attached we can see the correct beginning timecode in the left corner of the “Source Window” and in the “Modify Clip” timecode tab just to it’s right (12:20:40:09) … but … the “Media Start” TC reference both in the “Project Window – Metadata Display” and in the “Metadata Tab” for the audio clip show something different (12:21:24:40781).

The stranger thing to me is that when I “Merge Clips” using “Timecode” and select “Use Timecode From Clip:” in the “Audio” portion, the video and audio merge flawlessly. So, my question is am I going to have a conform problem with audio when that time comes?

    Thank you!
