extension control in inverse kinematics

I’ve got a question about using Dan Ebberts Inverse Kinematics redux. It works great, but I’ve found that with some of my artwork, when the limbs are extended straight out to their fullest, it doesn’t look right. Is there a way to modify the expression in some way so that the limbs can’t go fully straight, some kind of limiter?
