    Hi there,

I’m working on (yet another) alternative AE import panel.
Pretty new to extendscript but managed to tackle a big part of it already.
Where I’m caught off guard is the way the listbox item images are being presented.

As you can see in the screenshot below, on the left is AE’s default project window icons, in front of it is my script’s window, displaying PNGs with the exact same resolution and dimensions as these icons on the left, but for some reason they appear twice their size. I haven’t made any size designation (nor am I aware of a way to do so in listbox item images).

My screen is 4K and set to display text at 150% scale, but I haven’t noticed it affecting anything in such a way before.

Any idea what may cause this?

    Hi there!

So I went ahead and tested the same script on my macbook pro with an older version of AE (2018).
The images render exactly the same way (meaning, about 50% bigger than I would expect).

Would expect it to be a no brainer – the kind of thing that should simply behave the way I’d expect. 24 pixels is 24 pixels, no reason for an image to occupy more pixels than it has.

What’s going on? am I the first person to encounter this issue? Did all the coders abandon AE and switch to Nuke or something? (that actually doesn’t sound far fetched at all).
