Extendscript across Adobe products…
Howdy, creative cattle!
I’m attempting to create a script that will batch process a folder full of audio files (all voiceover) and a folder full of corresponding text files, using the Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder speech analysis functions.
All I hope to do is to load the audio files with metadata that will line up the spoken words with markers on an audio layer which I’ll use in After Effects.
So far, I’m drawing a blank on calling those functions on the Adobe Premiere side of the fence.
So, maybe I need to back up from Extendscript and figure out that part of the process in Applescript?
If anybody has any ideas on where to start with batching speech analysis with corresponding txt files, I’d love to hear from you.

Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder do not expose an ExtendScript interface to users.

I see.
Well, hopefully Adobe has a SDK that might allow access to these functions.
Does anybody know where I could find such a thing?And, also, if there’s a list of skilled developers who could assist?

There might be a simpler solution by setting up a series of Applescripts.
Though, I’d have to “tell “Adobe Premier Pro CS6” to…
(do stuff)Any thoughts on a good reference for finding the proper names of the drop-down menu items I’d have to navigate through to facilitate this?
Naturally, file-import.
Then, analyze the footage for speech…
And, in those options, pairing it with a script text.
But, I’m not sure I can keystroke my way to all those.
