    I am new to c4d, and am trying to replicate the new evo commercial where a 3d block grows in length.

    How do I “grow” or expand something, but keep the other side stationary…

    i.e.

    not < —–. —->

    You should change the axis of object ( what we call in AE anchor point) and from there changing the scale to make it grow.

    you can move the Axis with the Axis Tool or use the Modelling Axis Tab in the Scale Tool’s attributes
