Expressions in MOGRTs causing issues in Premiere
Hello! This probably fits in a number of different forums but considering my issue is mainly related to expressions I’ll start here.
I have motion graphics templates I created in After Effects that use CSV data and expressions to fill in text fields and color selection. Everything works great using the expressions and linking, but when it comes to using them in Premiere, things go haywire. Generally everything works great until something happens with the cache and the graphics decide to display things it shouldn’t be. The attached screen grabs show what the graphic should display and then one of how it looks after adding multiple MOGRTs to the timeline or trying to export.
The only fix I have right now is to delete ALL cache files, re open, export the timeline and hope they stick. I usually have to do this process multiple times if I have many timelines. I can’t figure out why this keeps happening but it’s starting to frustrate a lot of editors.
I attached those two screen grabs mentioned, an unpacked AE project, a MOGRT and two text files with the different expressions used. I appreciate any and all help, I’ve talked to so many people about this, including Adobe, who said “try clearing your cache again.”
