  • Expression to ‘bold’ selected words via Dynamic link in Premiere

I’ve created a After effects template to be used in Premiere via dynamic link. The text typed in Premiere sometimes has to format selected words as bold.

Is it possible to do this using an expression in the after effects text layer that looks for a ‘code’ before and after the words that has to be in bold – for example:

    'words to be in

So that this text in Premiere returs this:

'words to be in bold here'

What expression would be used to acheive this?

Expressions don’t have access to formatting like that.
