Express v. Pro
I’ve been an Avid editor for years.
Now I want to learn Final Cut.
Which do you recommend for a first time user to learn,
the Express version, or the Pro version?
If I learn the Express version, will I be able to work
on the Pro version as well?

The pro version is what you want here… for sure. The express software is consumer level stuff.
