Exporting wrong screen size
Let’s just start with I’m an idiot at final cut.
After digitizing DVC-Pro HD Video (some audio slippage), I did a test DVD record. This wide screen, HDTV destined video came out letter box rather than filling the TV screen. Any ideas? Is my preset wrong? Is this on the capture or the output?

You have to check 16×9 under the “Geometry” tab. This makes your DVD display 16×9 on a widescreen display and letterboxed on a 4×3 display.

Where is the ‘geometry’ tab? Are you kidding? Is there really a geometry tab?

Nope, I’m not kidding. Its one of the tabs under the “Inspector.” Better check the online manual under the help button if you need to know more about these things.
