Exporting with Chapter Markers from FCP For idvd
Hi guys,
I’m using FCP version 5.0.4 on a mac G5 10.4.11.
I know that I need to go to file>Export>Quicktime Movie..> Then I get a window that comes up that asks me where to store it and gives me some setting options. I need to know what to use on a hour and a half long project for the first field that says “Setting:”. The default I get is current settings, but this exports a file that is too big to fit on a standard DVD(single layer). So what should I set this to?
The other two field I have set like this:
“Include: Audio and Video”
“Markers: Chapter Markers”And I have the “Make Movie Self Contained” box checked.

leave it to current settings and let it build.
importing then compiling for dvd in idvd will encode it to size.
it might not look good. It’s worth a try though.
