    Hi,

I have exactly 3 hours to create a DVD from a show I did that is 60 min long.

When I go to render it says it will take 2 hours… which does not leave me much time to export out of FCP and import into DVD Studio Pro.

My question is… can i just export the file without rending and import into DVD Studio Pro?

    Thx

You can, but in that export it will render it. So the same amount of time will take place. Actually, in my experience it takes just a tad longer. So it is best to render, then export a QT reference movie, take that into Compressor and encode for DVD, then author the DVD.
