    hi everyone
i transcribed my interviews in the “log note” of the browser. I seem to remember being able to export the contents of the browser into a file microsoft excell can read using the “export” then “batch list” commands – (the last time i did this was in 2006) – but each time i try FCP crashes. Is there a way to export my log notes? and for future reference, do other people have a work flow for transcribing interviews that doesn’t involve a 2nd computer?

    thanks

    martha

Try hiding all of the columns you don’t need in the browser before you export the batch list. (just right click on the header name to hide it).
