exporting to NTSC
So I have to export a quicktime to the following (what should be simple) specs.
-Quicktime
-NTSC 720×486
-8bit or 10 bit YUVIt looks awful. NTSC puts a terrible grey glaze over the top, of a once bright, and nice looking colors.
Is Big Endian a higher quality codec that is related to NTSC. If I provide them with a much nicer Big Endian QT, am I in effect giving them what they need. Is it NTSC?
If not, do I just accept this is the world of NTSC, and it’s gonna look worse, period? Or can I give them Big Endian, will it be able to do whatever they need to do with the QT.
(DVD playbacks, streaming etc.) What is the drawback to using BIg Endian codec versus exporting to DV/DVCPRO NTSC?
