Exporting to HDTV in AE 7.0 Pro?!?!?!?!?!?!
Im working on a telvision intro animation, and i need to export this video as super high-res HDTV, preferably 1080 @ 29.97. What is the best way to export to HDTV in AE7.0 pro? can i even do that, and are there any exporter codecs i should download?? I appreciate the help, thanks guys!

Yes you can render to HD, 1080i, 720P, or 734×266 if you wished, though I just picked those last two numbers out of my head. The point is: you can render to any frame size, probably up to 30,000 by 30,000. However, you must answer some questions:
Who is receiving your file? Editor? Broadcaster?
What do they want from you? Quicktime movie? Which codec? Sony HDCAM tape?
Are you sure you want 1080i? Maybe 720p? They are not interchangeable, so I don’t understand why you wrote “preferably 1080”. It’s one or the other.This will affect how you render.

I cannot over-emphasize this. Stop talking to me and call whoever told you they want a Quicktime movie. Find the techie who knows, or you will look foolish re-rendering the file after they throw it back to you.
Ask them if they want 1080i, 702p, which frame rate, which codec, which medium. Please.

I took a class from Chris Meyer on delivering hd. the first thing he did was hold up a list of possible format combinations they had delivered to different clients. then he revealed that there were 3 pages of options. Chris emphasized over and over again that you must ask the person receiving the project exactly what they want because there are so many options that you will almost always have to do it again if you just guess. If Chris Meyer has to ask, so do you….
