I am having difficulties creating a dvd. I burned a copy that works on my computer and a television, however, it is jerky and skips on a compact dvd player and is not recognizable on other computers. When it goes into the duplicator machine, the discs are not copying any footage on the disc. Any suggestions?

If your burned DVD (DVD video, not video in DVD) plays fine on your DVD ROM (PC or MAC, not DVD player), then the problem is in the disc. Change your disc brand and make sure to close or finalize your DVD.

    I hope that helps.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I ended up using the Media Encoder and creating the timeline from Encore DVD. The disc didn’t make copies, because I had it “copy” protect. Thanks again!

I’m using DVD+R and when I export to DVD from Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, I can play the DVD on my computer workstation but I get an incorrect disc error when I try to play it on my DVD player. Should I switch to DVD-R? I’d like to be able to play the DVD on both the computer (PC) and DVD player. What settings should I use? I used NTSC 7mb 4:3 constant rate, 1 pass.
