Exporting to Compressor Slow – Beach Ball
Hiya
Trying to export 30 sec. DVD menu to compressor. Each time I click on drop downs “Source” or “Names” in Compressor or even drop a preset, I get a really sluggish response with Beach Ball upto ten seconds before I am able to carry on. Anyone seen this?
I am on G5/Dp2.0/2.5GB RAM/FCP 5 Studio/Fibre Channel 2TB
Export out of FCP also causes this once in Compressor!
Any ideas?

I’m in the same boat…or worse because my project it’s longer and it takes “minutes”!!! just clicking on items not even change settings or other…really strange.
What’s going on?
