In CS4 when i exported to 720×486 it resulted in that same aspect ratio.
Since CS 5 and now on CS6 when i Export to 720×486 it results in 654×486 with no field rendering (frame blended) and a substantial loss of quality.
The same happens in After Fx and Premiere.
Added to the severe loss of quality there is the impossibility to add crawling text because the lack of interlaced frames.
Is it a way to still get my exports at 720×486 29.97 interlaced???
Iasked this same question in the adobe forum but no one could help me

I’m having the same frustrating issue. A project created in AE CS4 and imported into CS5.5 will let me output a Quicktime 720×486 but projects created in AE CS5.5 wouldn’t output a 720×486 – they keep coming out at 654×486 no matter what settings I use. Did you have any helpful responses?
