Exporting TGA in AE
Hi there,
Hope somebody can help me with my problem.
So here it is…I have to create an 720x576px TGA file with alpha which will later be automatically resized to 1920x1080px due to the fact that the file is used in TV broadcasting as a layer over the main feed.
Now my problem is that when I make the file in AE and it’s made in 1920x1080px resolution and later in the TGA export menu the resolution resize is set to 720x576px…the resulting picture is pretty much blurry and far from sharp (especially text) when broadcasted.
Does anyone have experience with preparing TGA for broadcasting output? I’m pretty much new at this so I’ve been trying to solve this for quite some time now.

Why can’t you deliver a full hd file? Now you’re making a full hd comp, rendering that out to SD losing a bunch of quality and then scale it up and making it look worse.
