    Hi

im having a problem with my SWF file, after i have exported it from AE 7.

The file plays nice in any browser upon refering to it, or dragging the SWF file into any net browser.

however, the sound is muted /not playing when i stream the film from a server.
-Testing the server, with drag and drop from the server to a browser plays the SWF fine. but when linking it through a server and a site, the picture plays, but sound is gone..

the source material is either DV, DVCPro or some H264 compressed. outfall is the same on all converted formats

    any takers???

This might sound a little weird, but I’d put the SWF into Flash and Publish from there, Flash will make the file smaller (optimizing it) and maybe it will help the sound, dunno.

The movies are for a newspaper, so i cant publish them. but we did a workaround, and let flash do the job insted of AE.

Of what ive heard, the AE flash codec is not as optimized as the flash one, so from now on ill let flash do the job on my files.

Correct me if im wrong on the codec thing. 🙂

    tnx
