    Please help.
    I’m trying to export and image from a clip to use on the cover of the dvd. Unfortunately, the exported image is distorted with lines.
    Is there way to do this so I can have a good image to use in photoshop?
    If there is, could you please tell me?

    Do you mean video interlacing?

    Pick a frame with no motion or minimal motion and deinterlace.

    Try using the deinterlace filter in photoshop.
