    Hi,

I’m having some issues in editing and exporting Sony XDCAM EX footage in Premiere.

Our PC has 8gig of RAM, a 2.67ghz cpu and the ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics card. However, when rendering a 3 minute clip which only has basic cross fades it took nearly two hours.

The bigger problem is that there appears to be no native codec for exporting the sequence, and trying any number of other codecs results in it taking nearly 4 hours! This surely can’t be right?

Any advice on what the issue is and what can be done would be much appreciated. Thank you.
