    Hi All,

I’m attempting to export a MPEG4 quicktime 1080 25p into a Prores 422 1080 25p file. However when its done and I import it into FCP, the browser tells me it interlaced (upper) when should be progressive. I can’t see any problems but just wondering if anyone knew why this would be happening.

    Many Thanks, Matt

    Hey Matt,

I don’t use MPEG4 at all but I do know that sometimes when I select a preset setting that reads say “1080 25p”, I still have to change the setting from “Upper first” to Progressive.

You might see if you can do that even though the 25p preset should already be defaulted to Progressive.

    Hope this helps.
